We are an apparel company located in the Downtown Los Angeles Fashion District, seeking a full-time Showroom Associate/Cashier to manage customer transactions accurately and efficiently. This is a Monday through Friday position, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
As a cashier, your responsibilities will include processing payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate records of cash and credit card transactions. To excel in this role, you should have prior experience in a customer service position and a solid understanding of operating cash registers. Your goal will be to ensure smooth transactions while maximizing customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Manage customer transactions using cash registers.
- Accept payments from clients.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and credit memos.
- Cross-sell products and introduce new arrivals to clients.
- Resolve customer complaints, provide guidance, and share relevant information.
- Greet customers upon entering or leaving the showroom.
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom.
- Handle merchandise returns and exchanges.
Skills:
- Proven work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar sales role.
- Basic PC knowledge.
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, such as cash registers and POS or ERP software.
- Strong math skills.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Customer satisfaction-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in Spanish is required.
