Job Description: Manufacturing and Shipping Associate
Job Summary: (Full time position)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing and shipping role. This position involves working independently and collaboratively on manufacturing and shipping tasks, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The role also includes responsibilities in shipping and the operation of material handling equipment
The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the physical ability to handle materials safely. While prior manufacturing experience is a plus, a willingness to learn, cross-train, and take on challenges with a proactive attitude is essential. Individuals with off-road hobbies are encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities include assembling parts, servicing products, packing and shipping products, verifying shipments, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role requires effective communication in English, basic math skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

General Duties
-Exhibit a motivated "Go Getter" attitude, ready to take on challenges and hold oneself accountable for the quality of work produced.
-Maintain a safe and clean work environment, ensuring proper handling of chemicals and equipment and performing housekeeping duties to keep floor areas and supplies organized.
Production and Assembly
-Work independently and as part of an assembly line team to achieve production goals.
-Strictly follow manufacturing SOPs, resolve line issues promptly, and actively seek feedback to make necessary improvements.
-Assemble various parts, such as jacks, fuel tanks, and other components, as required.
-Identify and report potential safety risks to supervisors and QA staff.
-Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, to move and store materials safely.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
Shipping and Inventory
-Fulfill orders daily, approximately 1-2 hours per day.
-Create shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, and address labels for outbound shipments.
-Maintain accuracy in paperwork and documentation for shipments, including international shipping labels, commercial invoices, and related documents.
-Conduct inventory cycle counts, research discrepancies, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
-Verify received materials against purchase orders (POs), submit receiving documents, and deliver materials to the appropriate department.
-Match identifying information and counts for incoming and outgoing shipments to verify accuracy against bills of lading, packing slips, or orders.
-Professionally pack products into shipping boxes according to shipping lists.
-Resolve and track equipment orders, returns, shipments, RMAs, and status updates.
-Follow up on pending items in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications
-Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively in English (oral and written).
-Basic math skills
-Attention to detail is a must
-Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
-Awareness of the importance of attendance and maintaining good attendance records.
-Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.
-Willingness to learn, cross-train in various departments, and operate different equipment.
-Valid California driver’s license
-Experience with basic hand tools
-Experience with basic computer softwares like Google Drive, Excel, Word, etc.
-Works well with others and individually
Physical Demands
The physical requirements indicated below are examples of the physical aspects that persons within this classification must perform in carrying out essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
-Spends the majority of the day standing/walking. Assembly can be done sitting down, if the part being assembled allows.
-Frequently lifts, pulls, and pushes up to 50 lbs - heavier weight will be moved sometimes with another team member.
-Frequently bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, reach above shoulder level, and/or ascend and descend a step stool or ladder.
Work Environment
The work location for this position is primarily in an indoor assembly and shipping area; Duties will frequently involve tasks in a larger warehouse and outdoor storage yard indoors and outdoors. The following are possible exposures in a typical work environment:
-Heat or cold extremes
-Fumes, odors, dust, noise level (moderate to loud)
-Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, tools, and equipment.
Relevant PPE is provided to mitigate any exposures.
