About the role
The Business Development Executive/Senior Account Executive is responsible for increasing RetireMed market share through a targeted approach partnering with agencies and employer groups to drive Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) sales.In this role, we are looking for someone who can generate tremendous growth opportunities for the organization, partnering with external brokers and agencies, and managing a large territory.Success will be measured based upon total membership and revenue growth, with a combination of base salary, commissions, and bonus incentives.

• Conduct market analysis and identify ICHRA opportunities with employer group agents and agencies in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana
• Build out and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders at the agency level
• Perform seminars across the territory as thought leader in ICHRA space
• Respond to agency and employer RFP’s in a timely fashion, pulling together analysis and creating proposals for review
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, presentations, and website content
• Work closely with internal sales and customer support teams to ensure smooth onboarding and enrollment for ICHRA clients
• Create a referral pipeline from commercial group agencies to support inside sales teams for Medicare and Individual products

• Brokerage knowledge and experience connecting with key decision makers
• Carrier experience about the advantages of ICHRA
• Executive Sales Level experience
• Group Health Insurance
• Insurance compliance and regulations
• Ancillary plans, products, and services
Desired qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance Sales, Marketing, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in business development or sales
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
• Proven ability and track record to meet and exceed targets
• Prior carrier broker experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic
• Ability to travel ~50% in defined territory
