Roadio is a venture backed startup based out of San Francisco building AI powered safety systems for two & three wheeled vehicles. We’re a small team of avid two-wheeler enthusiasts, passionate about bringing advanced safety (like ADAS in your car) to motorcycles, mopeds and ebikes around the world.
The Roadio team is looking to add a Machine Learning Engineer to help design and implement our next-generation embedded ADAS features. You will be a key member of our software engineering team, working directly on next-generation computer vision-based AI models to fuel our roadmap of new active safety features. You will work closely with the rest of our embedded, mobile, backend, and CV infrastructure engineers to deliver delightful new ADAS features & unparalleled safety to Roadio riders worldwide.
Responsibilities
Implement high-performance computer vision + AI algorithms in our core ADAS stack.
Optimize AI models with a focus on cost-efficiency on resource-constrained embedded platforms.
Work closely with data collection & QA engineers to improve AI training data workflows & improve model performance in the field.
Work closely with iOS, Android, and backend teams to deliver reliable, delightful ADAS features to the end-user.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a software engineer shipping production-level code to end-users
Experience developing and maintaining at least one production-level AI model that has been deployed to >10,000 active users in the field.
Fluent in Python and C++Familiarity with state-of-the-art computer vision AI model architectures & training methods.
Experience optimizing AI models for speed and efficiency on resource constrained embedded devices.
