Skate Team Manager Reports to: Skate Team Director
DIVISION: HQ NYC
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for the successful management of Supreme's skate team which is comprised of a diverse group of 20+ skaters globally and is a critical pillar of the brand's identity and connection to their customer
- Ensure the on-going day-to-day needs of the skate team are met inclusive of scheduling transportation into the city for local content creation, ensuring each skater has correct product & coordinating meals etc.
- Plan and book travel for content needs in accordance with brand initiatives and marketing strategy both locally and abroad inclusive of booking flights, ground transportation needs, and hotel accommodations
- Lead the fulfillment of product promo requests for skate team with a large volume of requests at the start of a season in addition to continuous requests throughout
- Partner with creative services team to produce weekly & seasonally skate based photo / video content
- Contribute to weekly content meetings and social media discussions by providing status updates on content needs as well as any cultural + consumer insights
- Scout new skate talent by having a high level of engagement with skate communities and having your finger on the pulse
SKILLS:- 2-4 years experience of project + asset management
- Must have a deep passion and knowledge of skate
- Excellent communication, organization, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build trust and lead a diverse group of individuals
- Experience with Microsoft outlook
