We are Pioneer Connect, a broadband company based in Philomath. We provide internet and phone services from the central Oregon Coast to the Willamette Valley.
The Facilities Locator position is responsible for accurately identifying and marking the location of underground utilities and other facilities prior to excavation or construction activities. This role ensures compliance with safety regulations and helps prevent damage to infrastructure, minimizing downtime and disruption.
This position requires the ability to read and interpret computerized cable records, staking sheets, maps, and circuit diagrams. You will also be required to operate test equipment on cables to acquire acceptance readings and identify noise problems.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to operate test equipment on cables and is familiar with the National Electric Safety Code as related to the communications industry. This position also requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work flexible hours when needed. Travel in the service is area is required so you must have a valid driver’s license.
This position is full-time with a wage range of $24-$26/hr. depending on experience.
