The Arc of Benton County is a local chapter of the nation’s largest advocacy organization for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Founded in 1958, The Arc thrives through the collaboration of devoted volunteers and staff, united in the mission to enrich the lives of those with IDD and their families. Our industry-leading advocacy and programs are primarily funded by thrift store sales, Medicaid reimbursements, program fees, generous donor gifts, and grants. Our steady growth and new capital venture have created the need to enhance our administrative support.
The Arc seeks a Finance Manager to join our on-site administrative team, contributing to financial stability, compliance, productivity, and transparency. Key responsibilities include: overseeing the grants process (5 - 10 active grants), crafting financial statements for the board and other internal committees, preparing documents for external audit reviews, and collaborating closely with the Executive Director and Bookkeeper to build the annual budget. The Finance Manager will be supported by the Bookkeeper and will report to the Executive Director.
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or possess the equivalent experience in the bookkeeping/accounting department of a nonprofit organization with an operating budget of at least $750,000. Professional references will be required.
As we continue to grow, the position has potential to grow into full-time with increased benefits.
