Part-Time Interior Designer Position - Residential Design Studio
Join a creative residential design studio in Southern California. We're seeking a talented Part-Time Interior Designer to work on residential projects.
Position: Part-Time Interior Designer
- Hours: 15-20 hours per week, flexible scheduling
- Location: Long Beach, CA (hybrid - office/remote)
What You'll Do:
- Create kitchen and bathroom cabinet layouts
- Research and specify finishes, fixtures, materials, and products
- Create detailed product specifications and selection schedules
- Maintain clear communication with clients
- Prepare design presentations for client meetings
- Collaborate with our design and construction teams
- Create 3D renderings and material boards
- Assist with design consultations and site visits
What We're Looking For:
- Degree in Interior Design or related field
- 1-2+ years of residential interior design experience
- Proficiency with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar)
- Experience with kitchen and bathroom design, including product specification and material selections
- Strong presentation and client communication skills
- Portfolio demonstrating residential design work
- Reliable transportation for site visits
