This position is helping out the Girl Scouts with their Cookie Drive. You will be interacting with volunteers, GS employees and GS troops daily. You will be counting boxes of GS cookies in a large trailer at their office in LongBeach. You will be opening up large boxes that contain the cookie boxes and pulling the appropriate amount of boxes for each GS order. There are usually 2-3 people in the trailer helping carry and count the boxes of cookies. You must have a very friendly personality, willing to do whatever to help out with a smile and positive attitude. The schedule is Tues, Thur, Fri and Sat, about 5hrs a day, starting at the end of January and ending in mid March.
If you enjoy working with people and don't have any back or knee issues, this is a fun and rewarding temporary position.
Dress attire is casual, jeans, T/shirt or sweat shirt, sneakers/tennis shoes.
