Do you thrive in a team environment where emphasis is placed on relationship and community?
Description:
Windhorse Integrative Mental Health, a small alternative mental health clinic , is looking for a licensed (or nearly licensed) Clinical Team Leader to join our Portland, OR location! Windhorse is a semi-residential therapeutic community that uses a mindfulness and relationship-based philosophy in working with individuals experiencing health issues such as depression, psychosis and trauma. Our treatment approach is a holistic alternative to more orthodox mental health treatment modalities.
Windhorse Program structure: Teams work together to offer a tremendous amount of 1-on-1 support to clients. A client's team generally consists of a Team Leader, who spends time with the client and manages/coordinates the team, as well as several team counselors, who also meet with the client as part of the program plan. Clinicians meet with clients for typically 3 hours at a time, perhaps several times per week, partaking in activities that support healing either in client homes or out and about in the community. Activities may include hiking, sharing a meal, getting coffee, volunteering, taking a class together, etc. Full-time case load is only a few clients per clinician, allowing for extensive depth of healing and connection.
A generous amount of supervision, mentoring and training is offered. Please review our website (www.windhorseimh.org) to learn more about our philosophy and ensure alignment with the Windhorse approach.
