Job Description:
- Prepare structural drawings and calculations under the supervision of a professional engineer/structural engineer.
- Communicate with clients regarding project design and construction.
- Develop a working knowledge of building codes and standards.
- Limited site observation - gather information in the field for design purposes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Engineering Intern (EI) registration.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in structural design or related field (construction experience is a plus)
- Some familiarity with AutoCAD
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to take direction and manage multiple tasks.
