APD Driver Job Listing
We are seeking an Appliance Delivery Driver to join our team! Appliance Parts Distributors is a family-owned business that has been serving the greater Bay Area since 1963. APD has 4 locations: San Leandro, Dublin, Fremont, and a warehouse in Hayward.
We are looking for a full-time (Mon-Fri) Delivery driver capable of unloading/delivering appliances to properties in the Bay Area.
Your Monday-Friday schedule will constitute:
- Clock in at the Hayward warehouse between 8-8:30am (earlier is ok)
- Call / leave voicemails to the customers you will be delivering to
- Begin your route (We aim to have you on the road by 9am)
- Routes will include
10-12 stops
8-15 flights of stairs (Varies daily)
Deliver 15-21 new appliances
Haul away the old appliances when instructed
- We aim to have you back in the warehouse by 4pm
Responsibilities:
• Deliver products to customer locations in a timely manner (Installation sometimes needed)
• Load and unload vehicle
• Inspect and monitor delivery vehicle
• Inspect appliances for damages
• Maintain accurate inventory of packages and materials
Qualifications:
• Valid drivers license
• Clean driving record
• 21 years or older
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Dependable, hardworking and motivated
