Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead the development of internal platforms designed to support our product line development organizations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the SVPG product model and a proven track record of building platforms that internal customers love.
Key Responsibilities:- Platform Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for internal platforms that align with the company's goals and the needs of product line development teams. Focus on achieving outcomes over outputs.
- Internal Customer Discovery: Engage with internal stakeholders to deeply understand their problems and needs. Use this insight to inform platform decisions and prioritize features.
- Platform Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and IT, to build and iterate on platforms. Ensure that platform development is guided by continuous learning and validation.
- Outcome Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of platform initiatives. Use data to drive decisions and iterate on the platform.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency. Manage expectations and provide regular updates on platform progress and outcomes.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies relevant to internal platforms. Use this knowledge to identify opportunities and threats.
- Agile Practices: Implement agile methodologies to ensure efficient and flexible platform development. Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:- Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in Product Management
- 5+ years of experience leading agile teams through the complete product development lifecycle
- Considerable experience with driving platform adoption
- Ability to communicate and execute a strategic vision for long-term product roadmaps of complex products
- Strong project and process management skills with a track record of leading cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in agile and lean startup methodologies, with a focus on delivering minimum viable products and continuous improvement
- Excellent design, product sense, and interpersonal skills to contribute effectively in a collaborative environment
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and strategic analysis skills
- Proven ability to interpret data, generate innovative solutions, and navigate conflicts of interest
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Mindset: Customer-centric, outcome-focused, and data-driven. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Tools: Proficiency with product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar.
