We are seeking a Sr. Program Manager to lead our Finance Transformation efforts, with a focus on accounting process transformation and expertise in procure to pay and SAP applications.
As a Manager in Finance Transformation- Accounting Kuiper PMO, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-impact projects related to SAP Finance and Controls (FICO) modules, as well as driving effective people, processes, and technological improvements through the entire financial lifecycle. You will work in a dynamic, start-up-like environment, thinking and acting globally to create and implement innovative solutions that support Amazon's journey to become earth's most customer-centric company.
Key job responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end program delivery for finance transformation initiatives, including representing accounting requirements for SAP S/4 HANA implementations and integrations with Amazon Corporate systems
* Drive accounting process transformation, with a focus on procure to pay, order to cash, record to report and other critical finance workflows
* Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, managing risks and ensuring successful delivery
* Partner with key stakeholders (technology, finance, tax, and legal) across geographies to launch business and technical initiatives in a scalable and cost-effective manner
* Translate complex business requirements, validate functional designs and plan/execute user testing of solutions
* Identify, assess, and mitigate risks at multiple levels while proactively monitoring program performance
* Drive effective teamwork, communication, and collaboration across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience managing accounting/finance process improvement and/or technology projects with aggressive schedules
- Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
