Growing Aerospace and Defense manufacturer has openings for entry level 1st and 2nd shift CNC Mill and Lathe operators who are interested in upgrading their skills and moving to a higher level position.
The candidate may have 0 to 2 years experience as a CNC Mill or Lathe operator, experience with Haas and Fanuc controls preferred.
Familiarity with 4-axis Horizontal Machine Centers, 4-axis vertical mills and 5-axis mills are a plus
For Lathe, familiarity with 2 axis turning centers is desired.
Company is willing to fully train the entry level candidate to attain CNC Operator status and advancement to Setup Machinist positions
Operator must have some familiarity in the use of basic measuring tools (dial calipers, ID, OD micrometers, bore gages, thread gages).
Must be able to read and understand English to interpret blueprints, industry specifications and work order instructions.
The candidate must have impeccable attendance and be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as needed
