Required Experience and Qualifications:
Experience providing care and non-medical support to elderly individuals, especially in their own homes.
Familiarity or direct experience working with individuals who have physical and/or intellectual disabilities.
Proven experience in caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
Strong understanding of resident rights and how to uphold them in a caregiving or medical setting.
Ability to train or assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Experience in preparing nutritious meals for elderly clients, tailored to their dietary needs.
Knowledge of monitoring and recording vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
Certified in basic first aid.
Additional Requirements:
Valid CPR certification (must be current)
Must be a Registered Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of California
Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours is a plus
Professional, compassionate, and trustworthy demeanor
