Job Title: Shift Leader
Reports To: General Manager/House Leader
Job Summary: The Shift Leader is responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and supporting team members during their shifts. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily shift operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold company standards.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and store security.
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and proper sanitation procedures are followed at all times.
- Assist in training new employees and providing ongoing coaching to team members.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain a positive and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork and accountability.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and inventory management.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
