Job Summary
Develops, implements, and evaluates compensation, benefits, and rewards programs for the organization that help attract, motivate, and retain associates. Provides strategic direction in shaping a Total Rewards philosophy and developing initiatives, processes, and operational plans in support of business strategies. Establishes and communicates total rewards goals and initiates specific programs to accomplish objectives. Ensures cost-effective implementation of total rewards and recognition programs and the on-going development and analysis of information and metrics that relate to organizational objectives.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Work directly with Total Rewards Director and other functional leads to establish a strategic plan for the organization’s growth, productivity, and ability to attract and retain talent
- Partner with the Benefits and Compensation Department to understand company programs that foster a holistic recognition program that drives associate engagement.
- Assess programs, feedback, and involvement in considering creative ideas and needs.
- Conduct training and create education materials, and instructional strategies as the project manager for the company’s Total Rewards strategy.
- Manage special projects assigned by the Total Rewards Director.
- In conjunction with communications lead, develop communication plan and strategy on holistic recognition programs including compensation, benefits, career growth, culture, and other programs
- Interfaces regularly with associates and leadership to communicate the company’s recognition strategy.
- Provides training related information and tools.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology, or related field and two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Environmental Job Requirements
- Typically located in a comfortable indoor area.
- There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 20% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications - Hybrid position.
- 2-4 years’ experience[EN1] in total rewards including compensation, benefits, and recognition programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proven PowerPoint skills.
- Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines (Project management)
- Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results.
- Work as a team member as well as independently, exercising judgment and initiative.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (V-Lookups, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
