Griffin Heating & Cooling is a family-oriented, locally-owned business which has been serving Central Oregon for almost 40 years. We are currently looking for an additional HVAC Technician with experience and ambition to join our team.
We are a service, repair and retrofit company specializing in Commercial and Residential HVAC. We offer a competitive wage and benefit package and pride ourselves on employee retention. This is a full-time position with no seasonal lay-offs. A stocked service truck, cell phone, and tablet will be provided for work purposes. We have a team of experienced technicians and provide in-house training to encourage education and advancement within the company. There are no sales goals expected, we employ service techs, not sales techs.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 3 years experience (maintenance & troubleshooting) in the HVAC Service Industry
* Universal EPA Certified
* Valid Driver's License, Clean Driving Record, & Insurable under the company insurance policy
* Ability to pass a Background Check
* Live within Central Oregon or willing to relocate permanently
* Observe all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
* Must have basic computer skills and be able to utilize mobile devices throughout the workday
* Good customer service skills & ability to communicate both verbally and in written form
* Must be well-groomed and have a clean appearance
* Verifiable work references required
* Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs
* Must be comfortable with heights, extension ladders & tight spaces
* Days of work are Monday - Friday (8am-5pm)
* Some weekends and evenings are required, on a rotating basis, to service the emergency needs of our clients
