We are a scratch-made sourdough bakery serving breakfast and lunch in the heart of downtown el Segundo. We are seeking Front of House Team Members for the following shifts:
THURSDAY 8AM-3:30PM
FRIDAY 8AM-3:30PM
SATURDAY 8AM-3:30PM
Duties:
-Ring up and bag all retail bakery items.
-Take and process customer orders accurately using the Square POS system.
-Assist with food handling and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed.
-Buss tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness and readiness for incoming guests.
-Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
-Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist customers effectively.
Requirements:
-Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or retail environment.
-Familiarity with Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
-Strong culinary knowledge and food handling skills are desirable.
-Basic math skills
-Reliable transportation a must
-Excellent communication skills
