PAY: $19 plus tips

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The FOH lead position interacts with FOH staff and customers throughout the day. You will operate the register while taking orders, filling drink orders, serving soft serve ice cream, and restocking beverages and paper products. Other duties also include opening, or closing the shop.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain operational control of FOH, ensuring all standards and procedures are followed
Make sure FOH staff adhere to the shop’s rules, guidelines, and expectations
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to FOH staff
Handle all FOH staff issues, including receiving text messages and phone calls
Resolve spontaneous FOH scheduling issues
Cover FOH shifts when needed, including coming in early, or staying later
Ensure required staff breaks are taken and at the appropriate times
Direct cleaning of FOH and exterior of property
Oversee FOH staff to ensure health and safety standards are met
Resolve customer questions/disputes and DoorDash issues
Communicate with Shop Manager regarding issues pertaining to FOH staff, customers, operations, and quality of products
Assist Shop Manager when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least one year of FOH lead experience in a high volume, fast-pace restaurant
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a team of 6 people
A solid work history showing long term employment within the restaurant industry
Working knowledge of Square POS
Food Handler Safety Certificate
Reliable transportation; personal vehicle is preferred
