The Salt & Butter Japanese Bakery, by Okayama Kobo has an opening for a Bakery Crew Member at our North Park location within the Rising Sun Collective. This role offers a growth path to Shift Leader and/or Bakery Manager, and provides quality baked goods with guest s satisfaction always at heart!
● Bakery Crew responsibilities include:
1. Provide friendly genuine service to help create a warm welcoming environment for guests and teammates.
2. Know and uphold company standards and values
3. Weigh and scale ingredients according to recipe
4. Mix dough according to recipe
5. Shape breads and pastries according to company recipes
6. Bake and score bread according to recipe
7. Prep and make deli sandwiches according to recipe
8. Possess knowledge of Health Department standard & be Serve Safe Certified
9. Wrap and bag bread for guest pick up
10. Have a sense of urgency, while maintaining quality of product
11. Maintain a clean workspace for you and teammates at all times
12. Follow opening and closing procedures according to standard
13. Maintain a good attitude and willingness to help all departments
14. Multitask: constantly keeping in mind end of day goals
15. Must be comfortable working as part of a team and working alone
This role is 6-8 hours per shift, 3-5 shifts per week - must be able/willing to begin early morning (6:00AM), weekday and weekend shifts expected.
