As we expand, we seek a skilled Production Manager to lead our production team, bring projects from concept to completion, and help drive our firm’s growth and innovation.
Position Overview:
The Production Manager will oversee a talented team of Project Managers, Lead Carpenters, and in-house Technicians, ensuring that every project meets our high standards of quality, budget adherence, and timeliness. Collaborating with Design Consultants in the conceptual stage, you will help shape projects that are both feasible and aligned with client needs, ultimately supporting contract closures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage a team of Project Managers, Lead Carpenters, and in-house Technicians.
• Engage with Design Consultants early in the project development phase to ensure project feasibility and support contract closings.
• Use Buildertrend (or similar project management software) to plan, track, and document project progress.
• Accurately estimate costs, manage resources, and uphold timelines and budgets.
• Mentor and guide the production team, fostering skill development, teamwork, and best practices.
• Effectively resolve conflicts with a focus on positive outcomes for both employees and clients.
• Maintain excellent customer service, upholding our firm’s reputation and client relationships.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support and enhance company growth.
• Stay current with technology and innovations that can streamline processes and improve outcomes.
Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in residential remodeling and strong project management capabilities.
• Direct “bags-on” experience and the ability to lead by example.
• Proficiency in Buildertrend or similar project management software.
• Exceptional estimation, scheduling, and budget management skills.
• Skilled in training, mentoring, and building a cohesive, high-performing team.
• Conflict resolution expertise and a client-focused approach to problem-solving.
• Customer service skills and confidence in supporting the sales team with contract closeouts.
• Tech-savvy and innovation-driven to advance operational efficiency.
