About the Role
As a Senior Manager on the Platform Engineering Finance team, you'll lead and support key work streams that directly impact company objectives. You will act as a financial and strategic thought partner on a critical area of Uber's businesses. Working cross functionally among the Finance and Platform Engineering leadership teams, you will strategically evaluate new and existing initiatives through a finance lens to ensure delivery against key success metrics.

What You'll Do
- Business partnerships: Work closely with business and functional leaders to enhance financial reporting & forecasting to drive insights and change, applying business judgment and financial insights to assist with decision making
- Financial planning: You will be a primary point of contact for all things finance and will lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting
- Business Analysis - This role involves connecting financial insights to operational results, and the external environment
- Help us scale our reporting infrastructure: Lead cross functional projects enhancing our reporting infrastructure to provide the organization with the right tools to understand trends and manage to targets
- Develop the team: Grow and develop your team while partnering across the Strategic Finance to add to our team norms, mission, career paths, and goals
- Special projects: New initiatives always come up, as strengths emerge you will have the ability to lead cross functional projects
- Innovate: We will push the boundaries beyond traditional forecasting. Be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skill sets
Basic Qualifications
- BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics
- A minimum of 8+ years in Corporate Finance, Banking, FP&A
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Excel, Google products knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Experience leading complex workstreams
- Systems - working knowledge of enterprise-level financial planning systems
- MBA, CFA or CPA
- Infrastructure, Cloud, or Software experience
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$180,000 per year - USD$200,000 per year.
