The pay range is $89,700.00 - $161,500.00

A role at Target Printing Services (TPS) means that you’ll be part of a team that enables the strategy of internal partners including Marketing, Target Enterprise Services, Store Operations/Communications, Human Resources and Talent Acquisition through print and kitting projects. The TPS team has a broad range of responsibilities including planning, prepress, design, color management, print production, finishing, kitting, fulfillment and distribution.
As the Senior Manager Printing Services - Planning, you are responsible for day-to-day oversight of the internal and external job planning functions for Target Printing Services. You lead and develop a team of Account Managers, Project Managers, and Project Planners who oversee all new job requests and make the decision as to what components of a project are produced internally or outsourced to a third-party vendor, based on capabilities and capacity. As a leader, your top priority is building a positive team culture with a focus on personal development and accountability.
Responsibilities include general knowledge of team projects, whether produced internally or externally, in addition to the development and implementation of planning strategies that maximize plant capacity and value for Target. As a Senior Manager, you will develop and manage positive working relationships with internal Target partners, as well as the TPS production teams to enable day-to-day work. You will oversee your team’s external vendor partnerships, setting expectations for service and following up on any issues as needed. You will partner closely with the Quality Manager to ensure quality outputs, Systems Manager to ensure planning tools are up to date and used effectively, and with Internal Production and Scheduling to enable quality standards and on-time delivery for all jobs. In addition, you will lead performance analysis and process improvements to drive efficiencies and deliver maximum value.

This role will require on-site work from the Target Printing Services facility in Brooklyn Park multiple days per week.
About you:
- 4-Year degree in related field and/or 5+years of experience in a print environment
- A proven track record for leading teams and managing performance
- Self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively with others, as well as independently
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment through multiple projects and details
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to make strategic decisions while weighing competing factors with urgency
- Prior Offset and Digital Print Planning experience is desired
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
