Employment Type: Full time
Responsibilities:
• Assist in loading and unloading household and commercial goods and furniture
• Crew lead on selected jobs, directing movers and packers to ensure timely and professional services for our customers.
• Ensure items are securely and efficiently packed for transport.
• Ensure customer paperwork is in order before and after job.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
• Valid license required. Class A license a plus.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and have an excellent driving and safety record.
• Prior experience in household goods moving, office or commercial relocation preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical labor (50 pounds frequently)
• Strong and professional communication and customer service skills
• Proven skills to direct teams in a positive way and inspire teamwork.
• Must be able to reliably commute to/from the Vancouver branch or plan to relocate before starting work.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Compensation and Benefits:
• $22.00 to $26.00 / hour to start – depending on license class and years of experience.
