What You Can Expect In This RoleJoin Sammons Financial Group as an HR Talent Development Specialist! In this role, you’ll be responsible for learning management, leader development program, culture curriculum and/or organizational effectiveness.
What You'll Do In This Role• Apply knowledge in center of expertise to administer and manage functional programs, policies and processes and deliver a high-quality employee experience.
• Apply expert knowledge in center of expertise to accomplish COE specific strategic initiatives and projects related to annual team goals.
• Participate in the development and administration of programs, procedures and guidelines as appropriate to the team.
• Address management and employee questions and requests in a professional manner attempting to reach win/win solutions whenever appropriate.
• Provide suggestions on team and department goals and initiatives resulting from management and employee interactions.
• Actively participate with the implementation of HR processes and systems.
• Actively participate in the development of programs, policies and procedures.
• Conduct necessary research and compile reports as applicable to the team.
• Assist in company-wide roll-outs of updated policies and procedures.
• Assist with presentations to company management and employee groups relative to training initiatives including employment law, policy updates and more.
• Demonstrate self motivation and exhibit good judgment in decisions relating to specific team and department initiatives.
• Continuously maintain proficient understanding of management and employee needs from HR team.

What We're Looking For- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Management Preferred
- 1-3 years' HR experience Preferred
- Minimum 3 years' relevant work experience Preferred
- Knowledge and experience in broader body of HR work (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Employee Relations and Employment Law) Preferred
- Exhibits specialized capabilities in HR Centers Of Expertise (as applicable to team)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and coaching skills
- Demonstrated influencing skills and ability to engage and exchange ideas, coach or counsel all levels of management
- Progressive growth in leading and mentoring HR team members
- Excellent organization skills
- Effective presentation creation and delivery skills
- Proven ability to develop long-range plans for the department
- Demonstrated successful ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within department, across the organization and with external customers
- Strong capabilities to analyze, interpret and apply data
- Active affiliations with appropriate HR networks and organizations and ongoing community involvement preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, under pressure, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability in maintaining a high level of confidentiality
- Some travel may be required
