Scientific Support Biologist, Senior

As a Biologist on our team, you will conduct all-source analysis of foreign doctrine, strategy, plans, policies, objectives, goals, intentions, command authorities, force structures, and resources relating to current, emerging, and future bio programs and capabilities. Analysis may include, but not limited to, infectious disease risks, foreign medical countermeasures programs, biosafety and biosecurity and chemical and radiation health threats.
You will be part of a unique multi-discipline team, assisting partners to fuse operations and intelligence information to enhance government efforts against emerging threats and counterproliferation efforts. You Have: - 8+ years of experience with biological threats analysis and vulnerabilities to biological programs, including logistics and security research, development, and testing
- Experience reviewing analytical products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support
- Experience with in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and IC boundaries, and clearly articulating key findings
- Knowledge of biological threat programs analysis, including national and military doctrine, strategy, plans, policies, intentions, command force structures, and resources for emerging and future threat programs
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and developments in fields that affect tradecraft methodology, including academia
- Ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks
- Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
Nice If You Have:- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular or Microbiology, Public Health, Immunology, Virology, Biotechnology, or Biodefense preferred
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
