We are looking for a teacher with training and experience in the Montessori method or willing to get trained.
1. The ability to attend to each child's individual need while fostering independence and self-sufficiancy, kindness, cooperation and respect for themselves, for others, and for the environment for all students.
2. To be supportive and collaborative with the other teacher.
3. To be kind, warm, polite, and respectful to children, teachers, and families.
4. To have excellent written and communication skills as well as outstanding interpersonal skills.
5. Willing to implement the existing Montessori curriculum as well as contribute ideas to enhance the extended curriculum embracing art, music, and the Love of Nature program.
6. Attendance and punctuality are essential.
AA, BA, or proof of higher education
AMI, AMS, or MACTE certification
A minimum of 2 years teaching experience as a Lead or co-teacher in a Primary classroom serving children ages 2.5 - 5 years
Fingerprint clearance
Minimum 12 ECE units
Health clearance from your health care practitioner
2 or more letters of recommendation from colleagues in schools you have worked for
First aid / CPR certification
