We are seeking a Construction Foreman to help us organize operations and oversee workers' performance at our construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction field and demonstrate effective leadership skills, including the ability to direct the work of others and make swift decisions. We expect the foreman to be well-organized and prioritize safety above all else. Responsibilities include:
1. Overseeing daily operations at the worksite to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
2. Coordinating daily tasks based on priorities and plans, making adjustments as needed due to weather, supply issues, deliveries, or personnel changes.
3. Promoting the safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets, and procedures.
4. Quickly and amicably resolving conflicts or miscommunications.
5. Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers, and other officials.
6. Maintaining daily employee logs and monitoring the conduct of construction workers and contractors.
7. Monitoring the use of machinery and equipment.
8. Preparing progress reports for managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Foreman or in a similar position.
* Significant experience with construction procedures, equipment, and occupational safety and health (OSH) guidelines.
* Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
* Excellent ability to read and implement drawings, plans, and blueprints.
* Strong math and problem-solving skills, with the ability to report effectively.
* Good physical condition and stamina.
*A high school diploma or a diploma in a skilled trade, such as electrician or carpenter.
