The Pastry Cook's responsibilities include preparing quality pastry items such as biscuits, muffins, cakes, and cookies by following recipes, pars, and proven procedures. The Pastry Cook is a team player who participates and assists other team members at the direction of the Commissary Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Taking inventory of ingredients, packaging, small wares, and utensils.
• Maintaining an immaculately clean pasty area, including ovens, refrigeration, dough mixers, walls, and floor in the pastry while practicing strict food sanitation and safety protocols, and working at the direction of the Commissary Manager.
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of experience as a pastry cook
• Full time (30 hours)
• Carry, bend, stoop up to 50 pounds, and stand for up to 3 hours.
• Ability to read, write, maintain production and inventory records
