Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to assist with daily operations at the Tennis Clubhouse. This part-time position focuses on delivering excellent customer service while ensuring smooth clubhouse operations. The Tennis Clubhouse is open Monday through Sunday, 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM.
Key Shifts (Required Availability):
Saturday and Sunday (closing): 2:00 PM – 8:30 PM (required)
Monday (opening): 8:15 AM – 3:00 PM (preferred but flexible; if unavailable, please still apply or reach out).
Additional weekday opening (8:15 AM – 3:00 PM) or closing (3:00 PM – 8:30 PM) shifts may also become available depending on the schedule.
Primary Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Welcome members and guests, provide information on facilities and programs, and address inquiries.
Reservations & Events: Assist with court reservations, coordinate activities like clinics and tournaments, and manage bookings using Northstar POS software.
Facility Oversight: Ensure cleanliness and organization of all areas, including courts, gym, pool, and clubhouse amenities. Restock supplies as needed.
Operational Support: Monitor court usage, enforce policies, and assist tennis pros with lesson scheduling and event logistics.
Administrative Tasks: Handle guest check-ins, maintain attendance records, and support inventory management for supplies and refreshments.
Desired Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles (experience in a recreational setting preferred).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with basic computer systems and the ability to learn reservation software.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Passion for creating positive member experiences.
