The Role:
We’re seeking an experienced and well-connected Wholesale Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring an existing book of business within the fashion or apparel industry and the skills to drive sales and expand our presence in the competitive LA Fashion District.
Compensation: Salary + Commission
What You’ll Do:
• Leverage your existing relationships to bring in new wholesale clients for our hoodies and T-shirts.
• Identify and connect with additional wholesalers, retailers, and distributors in the Fashion District and beyond.
• Present and showcase our products, emphasizing their quality, price, and trendiness.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and order quantities to close deals.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business.
• Utilize and optimize sales through wholesale platforms like Faire.com, FashionGo, or other online wholesale marketplaces.
• Provide feedback on products, market trends, and customer needs to help shape our offerings.
• Represent the brand at trade shows, networking events, and other industry gatherings.
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience, 5+ years, in wholesale sales, particularly distributors, wholesaler and retailers of printed apparel
• A strong, existing book of business with established relationships in the Los Angeles Fashion District or similar markets.
• Familiarity with wholesale platforms like Faire.com, FashionGo, Abound, or similar is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with current market trends and customer preferences in hoodies and T-shirts.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a startup environment.
• Ability to travel locally to meet clients and attend events.
