Lead Cooks and Kitchen Supervisor (West Hollywood)
Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Cooks Leads and Kitchen Supervisors:
• The Lead Cook and Kitchen Supervisor are responsible for preparing approved recipes and production standards.
• Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders.
• Stores food in designated areas following all company, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Clean the workstation thoroughly before leaving the area.
• Keeps display equipment clean and debris-free during meal service to comply with all sanitation, safety, production, and merchandising requirements.
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to associates.
• Importantly, lead the night shift throughout the peak time to ensure accurate ticket times and that everyone follows your leadership.
* Dishwasher: someone with experience who knows how to take pride if their job and is well organized!
