Requirements:
● Passion for hospitality
● Positive attitude with grace under pressure
● Minimum 3 years’ experience in restaurant management
● Valid California Manager Food Handler Card
● Exceptional customer service
● Excellent problem-solving skills
● Strong leadership skills
● Reliable and responsible
● Can lift up to 50lbs
● Conversational Spanish a huge plus
● Love of chicken (or tofu!) or both.
Responsibilities:
● Motivating, supervising, mentoring, and leading our team
● Ensuring all team members represent our company culture
● Supporting team members
● Team scheduling
● Interviewing, hiring, and training
● Increasing customer satisfaction through hands-on leadership style
● P&L ownership
● Interfacing with marketing team
● Collaborating with restaurant chef to maintain a first-class kitchen environment
● Monitoring employee safety needs
● Working knowledge of all FOH and BOH positions and filling in when necessary
● Remaining positive and flexible in a dynamic business
Position Overview:
The General Manager will lead, motivate, mentor, and supervise the new team at our brand-new restaurant in West Portal, SF. They will be responsible for driving daily operations, managing the dining room, overseeing the restaurant Chef, developing team members, and handling standard administrative tasks associated with this roll. Our General Manager will ensure that our company culture and core values are represented in everything that we do. Most importantly, the General Manager will ensure that our guests receive a great experience every time they dine with us.
