Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team in supporting wildfire recovery efforts. The primary responsibility of this role is to operate a dump truck to transport debris, ash, and other materials from wildfire-affected areas to designated disposal sites. This position requires a safety-conscious individual with experience in heavy equipment operation and a commitment to assisting communities in rebuilding after natural disasters.

Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a dump truck to haul wildfire debris, including ash, soil, vegetation, and damaged materials, from cleanup sites to disposal locations.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Follow designated routes and adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and project-specific guidelines.
- Collaborate with cleanup crews, supervisors, and other personnel to load and unload materials efficiently.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, hours, and materials transported as required.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous or contaminated debris in compliance with environmental and safety standards.
- Assist with minor on-site tasks as needed, such as securing loads or clearing debris from loading areas.

*REQUIRED* Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to [50 lbs.] and perform physical tasks in varying weather conditions.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations (OSHA, DOT, etc.).
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Language: speak, read, write in English
- Shift availability: Day Shift
- Education: High school or equivalent

PREFERRED Skills:
- Minimum of [1-2 years] experience operating a dump truck or similar heavy machinery.
- Familiarity with hauling in rugged or uneven terrain, such as wildfire-affected areas, is a plus.
- Experience in disaster recovery or construction hauling projects.
- Knowledge of local roads and disposal sites in Los Angeles County, CA
- Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
