Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Supporting individuals in developing and strengthening skills for greater independence in their daily lives
- Assisting with independence goals outlined in the Care Plan
- Providing support in the home and community to foster engagement and meaningful experiences
- Ensuring accurate documentation of services provided, including progress notes and time sheets
- Performing duties ethically and in compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and Medicaid guidelines
Caregiver Qualifications and Skills:
- Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation (Required)
- Current HCA + TB test, not required upon hire.
- COVID-19 Vaccination recommended, but NOT required.
- Experience as a Caregiver/Home Care Aide in homes or facilities, preferred.
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate, preferred.
- Must be 18+ years of age.
- Must pass a background check.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
