Position Overview
The Lead Carpenter will be responsible for performing work across the following scopes:
-Room additions
-Kitchen remodels
-Bathroom remodels
-Full home renovations
-Flooring installation
-Roofing repairs and installations
-Framing and structural modifications
-Finish carpentry and custom woodwork
Responsibilities
-Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications for precise project execution.
-Perform carpentry tasks including framing, finishing, and custom woodworking.
-Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while adhering to all safety regulations.
-Coordinate with subcontractors and team members to meet project deadlines.
-Monitor project progress, budgets, and materials to ensure efficiency.
-Troubleshoot and resolve construction-related issues on-site.
Documentation Requirements
-A valid driver’s license is required.
-Language Requirements
Must be fluent in reading and writing English. (Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.)
Tool Requirements
-A reliable pickup truck with a lumber rack for hauling materials and traveling to job sites.
-A comprehensive set of carpentry tools, including but not limited to:
-Tape measure
-Skillsaw
-Sawzall
-Tool bags
-Hammer
-Levels
-Cordless drill
