Self-Storage Maintenance /Office Relief
The ideal candidate for the General Maintenance and part time office relief position will possess a diverse range of skills and abilities. We are looking for someone who can follow directions, yet takes the initiative and can work efficiently and independently, as well as with others. Starting pay of $21.00 per hour to start. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Prioritize and accomplish daily routines, assigned tasks and other projects with ample attention to detail and follow through to completion (ie; Daily inspections, cleaning and preventative maintenance, small and large projects). The job requires basic electrical, mechanical, plumbing, custodial, painting, carpentry, customer service, and light office experience. Must have the ability to lift over 50 pounds in weight and work from heights when necessary. The position will further require an aptitude for limited office duties, including good phone, computer, and sales skills, with strong emphasis on excellent customer service.
Specific Skills Required : Basic Electrical, Basic Plumbing, Carpentry Skills, General Maintenance Repairs, Interior & Exterior Painting, Landscaping, Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel), Customer Service
Daily Duties Include :
Daily inspections, repair and upkeep of the properties. Performing preventative maintenance Care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the company. Part-time office relief involving customer service, unit rentals, payment processing. Maintaining the required uniform and insuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times. Cleaning work area, tools & equipment. Courteous, efficient response at all times. Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times. Knowledge and adherence to company policies and procedures. Be available to respond to an emergency and work on an on-call basis when needed.
