Temp to Hire position with a manufacturing company in Commerce. 8am-5pm, $20/hr
This person is responsible for organizing and managing the spare parts stock room.
The position is also in charge of issuing and administrating maintenance dept purchase orders for parts and service
RESPONSIBILITES
• Organize storage of spare parts for the facilities
• Keep track of inventory levels
• Conduct periodic cycle counts to ensure that the spare parts quantities are accurate
• Initiate disposition of expired and/or obsolete items
• Make sure that spare parts remain in good working condition
• Determine spare parts needs in coordination with maintenance technicians, managers and reliability engineer
• Keep equipment documentation organized and current
• Enter maintenance requisitions in QAD
• Follow purchasing processes to ensure proper execution of purchase order
• Enter necessary transactions for proper administration of PO: (receipts, returns)
• Coordinate sourcing of spare parts with other company locations
QUALIFICATIONS
• Good computer skills including: Microsoft Office, ERP system, CEBOS
• Good organization skills
• Good written and verbal communication
• Some Mechanical and electrical components knowledge
PREFERRED
• Prior experience in warehouse environment
• Clerical background
• Inventory control management
• Purchasing background.
