Coder is on a mission to build enterprise software that makes software developers’ lives easier and keeps them in flow. We’re looking for a passionate Designer to join our team with a focus on visual communication and brand design.
As a Designer at Coder, you'll help shape the visual identity of a product used by thousands of developers worldwide. Joining our lean design team, you’ll work closely with our design-minded frontend team to bring innovative ideas to life with a cohesive visual experience across all user touchpoints. Your role will be instrumental in building strong connections between our brand, users, and stakeholders.
This is a fully remote position based in either Europe or the United States.
Responsibilities
Take part in shaping Coder’s design direction, establishing and maintaining a consistent visual identity across product and marketing assets
Design visually appealing, user-centric web pages based on Coder's style guide
Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and best practices
Create and maintain digital design assets including slide decks and one-pagers
Create templates and guidelines to enable the team to self-serve e.g. for social media and blog post graphics
(Interim: Maternity Cover) Support the product team by translating new features into our product design language, ensuring a smooth workflow and minimal disruption for product development
Requirements
A portfolio showcasing relevant digital design work (personal website, PDF, etc.)
3+ years of design experience for digital products
Proficiency in Figma
Interest in user behavior and user flows
A curious, proactive mindset with a commitment to challenging and enhancing the status quo while keeping current with design trends
Comfortable working autonomously/asynchronously with a distributed team
Bonus points
Familiarity with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and experience in developer tools or similar industries.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with the ability to create print-ready files for conference booths, swag, and other physical marketing assets.
