Mid-sized civil litigation firm looking for legal secretary. Our firm is over 40 years old, and we have an excellent and collegial work atmosphere. Experience is important, and a minimum of 3 years of recent litigation experience (civil defense / personal injury / employment) is preferred.
Experience Required:
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Adobe
• Type minimum 70 wpm
• Excellent phone and speaking etiquette, writing, multitasking, organizational, communication and computer skills
• Knowledge of California codes, court rules, discovery rules, subpoena preparation, filing deadlines and procedures
• Knowledge of trial and arbitration preparation
• Ability to maintain tasks and calendars
• Highly motivated, conscientious, detail oriented, self-starter
