Located in central San Diego, B Street Veterinary Hospital is seeking candidates qualified for the position of Receptionist.
B Street is a hybrid veterinary hospital, seeing a variety of patients from wellness/preventative care to critically ill and injured companion animals. Due to the overwhelming demand for emergency care, sometimes days run long at B Street, but we are committed to helping pets in distress and their families. B Street is a fast-paced, cutting-edge, and growing medical establishment that requires energy, enthusiasm, and precision from the entire team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Provide excellent customer service to clients and their pets
-Act as a liaison between the clients and veterinarians
-Greet clients and their pets, and ensure they are checked in/out efficiently; including counseling clients on any dispensed medications and going over discharge instructions
-Collect, update and verify client information and patient medical history is accurate and up to date
-Explain treatment plans to owners, collect required payments and be able to discuss financing options
-Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
-Maintain the cleanliness of the reception area and exam rooms
-Handle animals, obtain patient vitals and triage patients in need of emergency medical attention
We are currently looking for full time candidates, who have flexible hours and weekend availability.
