The Regional Director of Sales will help to facilitate the business operations through cooperation with the Regional Showroom Manager. Leads showroom and outside sales efforts to meet or exceed company goals for profitable revenue growth in the region. Provides leadership direction for the Business Development Specialist (BDS), Regional Showroom Manager and sales staff. Responsible for development of an assigned vertical market or account list. Successfully engage cross functional teams to support selling objectives.
Responsibilities: - Recruit, train, develop, and coach a professional sales team, including BDS and Regional Showroom Manager, to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Coach and lead BDSs and Regional Showroom Manager on all aspects of the sales process. Make coaching sales calls with BDSs and showroom staff to provide feedback and to assist with large opportunities.
- Individual sales efforts, strategic account management and new market development.
- Implement effective sales strategies for outside sales and showrooms.
- Proactively identify changes in the marketplace and modify strategies and tactics accordingly.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
- Partner with in-house teams (Marketing, Operations, HR, Web Team) to address key business issues and opportunities.
- Monitor showroom sales reporting, ensuring executive leadership and the sales teams are aware of opportunities, trends and projections.
- Monitor and manage showroom costs and ensure resources are managed in a manner which is consistent with standard operating procedures and budgetary objectives.
- Conduct regular communication meetings with BDSs and showroom management team, to ensure information is distributed appropriately and feedback is obtained and forwarded as needed.
- Support new showroom location development as needed.
- Promote and oversee adherence to all Company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
- Participate, as a contributing manager, in various projects and committees as assigned.
- Participate in long-term planning, including initiatives geared toward sales excellence.

Position Requirements:- Minimum of 10 years of B2B sales experience is required, with at least five years of sales management experience for global, national, or key strategic accounts.
- 5+ years' experience selling to residential home builders and/or architecture/design trades
- MBA or bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead a sales team and achieve sales plans.
- High level of financial and business acumen
- Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills
- Ability to challenge the status quo by making solid data driven business cases
- Ability to see situations from different points of view
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards.
- High degree of competence with CRM and other sales tools
- Extensive travel required (80%)
Compensation Range: $120, 000 - $150,000 plus monthly commissions
