Responsibilities
- Oversee HR compliance programs and reporting, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, including I-9, E-Verify, FLSA, FMLA, and EEO requirements
- Partner with Legal and HR teams to address compliance-related escalations, implement regulatory changes, and develop policies to mitigate risk
- Manage compliance filings and reporting, including I-9 audits, EEO-1 submissions, and other annual employment compliance requirements
- Monitor and analyze compliance metrics, providing leadership with insights and recommendations for improvement
- Deliver compliance training and communications to employees, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or in a related field
- Demonstrated experience with HR compliance, policy development, and governance required.
- Compliance experience outside of HR will be considered
- Proven ability to design and build from scratch processes and programs that align with the operations of the business
- Hands-on experience in the application of compliance policies and procedures
- Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations; hospitality experience is a plus
